A hedge springer is an olde English name for a hare. This linocut is handprinted in Prussian Blue ink onto Liber Charta paper. There is also the option to purchase ready framed in a 16" x 20" oak coloured frame (made in Newcastle).
I live in an area with a healthy population of badgers. We are lucky enough to occasionally have them visit our garden (our last house we had a whole family every night!) This linocut depicts our nocturnal friend rambling through the starlight countryside. The image measures 12.5cm x 12.5cm and will be mounted ready to frame in a standard 20cm x 20cm size.
Original linocut of an otter. We have otters locally in the Tarset Burn. I haven’t spotted them yet, but my husband has. I keep my eye out for them every day when I walk the dogs. This little linocut is printed with a gradient of blue inks. It’s a variable edition as each one will vary, depending on how I mix and roll the ink. This was the first linocut of 2026, I really enjoyed the process of creating this one. It took a lot of carving! Printed onto A3 Snowdon paper, this is a variable print, meaning I may print the next one in a different colour, or on different paper. These prints are in a lovely green/blue ink. Mounted to fit an A3 frame.
